BioHarry Dresden is a fictional character, created by Jim Butcher. Paul Blackthorne plays Harry in the new television series based on Butcher's books. I am neither Jim Butcher, Paul Blackthorne, nor Harry Dresden. This is a role playing journal designed for entertainment only.

Harry Dresden is the only professional wizard in the phone book. His ad reads Harry Dresden - Wizard. Lost Items Found. Paranormal Investigations. Consulting. Advise. Reasonable Rates. No Love Potions, Endless Purses, or Other Entertainment
Please be advised that if your character looks in to Harry's eyes, Harry will inadvertently soul-gaze. He can't help it, can't prevent it. When I look into someone's eyes, into their soul, their innermost being, they can see mine inn return -the things that I had done, the things I was willing to do, the things I was capable of doing. Most people who did that got really pale at least. One woman had passed out entirely. I didn't know what they saw when they looked in there -it wasn't a place I poked around much, myself. Generally the easiest thing to do is that I will write out what your character will see in Harry, and you would write out what Harry would see inside your character. Please remember this is the truth, who and what your pup really is. People can't hide the honest to goodness, deep down truth.
The Seven Laws Of Magic

3. Thou shalt not invade the mind of another

otherways info: I'm going to shake
things up and say this Other!Harry lived a normal life (more or less),
until his parents died in a fereak accident when he was seven. Harry
had an uncle Justin, who took a keen interest in the boy. It may be
that the uncle had something to do with the parent's death, but no one
knows for sure. In any case, Harry was fostered out to the uncle with
his parents dead. And the uncle, of course, groomed Harry to be a
wizard of the dark arts.
He didn't account for Harry having a pure and good heart. Teenaged
Harry triumphed over the evil that was his uncle, but he was cursed
along the way, so that if someone touches him with hand to skin, he is
shocked with a surge of emotion that person is feeling. Not exactly a
soulgaze, much more vague than that, but similar.
This journal may contain mature material, from the sexual to the violent. Please be advised.
